From the publisher In the offered book hundred thirty one letter of Russian writers to prince Alexander Borisovichu Kurakin (1752-1818) which originals are kept in princely archive is printed;all of them are published for the first time and represent significant historico-literary interest. These letters are presented in twenty two sections, each of which is devoted to the separate writerby I.I.Bogdanovichu, G.R.Derzhavinu, D.I.Fonvizinu, M.M.Heraskovu and another. In borders of each section of the letter are placed in the chronological order. Reciprocal letters of the prince if they are available among its papers, are published on holidays and placed between letters according to chronology. As appendices separate sections are seven unknown persons before products of Russian poets which manuscripts were between papers of prince.
