MINT XXI has immortalized the story of perseverance and bravery in the name of love with a 2 oz silver coin portraying the rescue of Andromeda. The daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, king and queen of ancient Aethiopia. According to legend, Perseus fell in love with Andromeda, when he saw her chained to a rock. The 50 mm coin features a masterful use of high relief technique, showcasing the first embrace of Perseus and Andromeda, with gilded shackles on her exquisite hands.
