Kyiv, a city with over 1500 years of history, is Ukraines capital and a modern metropolis. St. Michael the Archangel, symbolizing hope and protection, is a pivotal part of Kyivs identity and proudly depicted on the citys emblem.
Since the start of the Russian invasion in 2022, over 100 missiles have been fired at the city, causing widespread destruction. In solidarity with Ukraine, MINT XXI introduces the St. Michael: The Patron of Kyiv coin, featuring a high-relief depiction of the Archangel Michael, adorned with gilding on the trident.
The 5 oz collectible serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always a place for the light of hope.
All profits will be donated to support Ukrainian military and humanitarian efforts.
