In Irish Mythology, Airmid is believed to be the source of all healing herbs that sprout all over the world. She is depicted on this lightweight silver coin with digital colour printing, gloss over lacquer and antique finish. This 50 mm coin tells the story of one of the main deities of Pre-Christian Gaelic Ireland. According to the myth, her healing abilities took a powerful twirl when her father murdered her brother out of jealousy. Only Airmid knows the secrets of herbalism.
