Introducing the second coin in the Futurists of the Past series, dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci a genius of the Renaissance whose innovative designs and advanced concepts were only realized centuries after his passing. Recognized globally as an artist, scientist, inventor, and thinker, Leonardos outstanding contributions went far beyond the imaginable.
On the 2-ounce silver collectible, his notable inventions like the hang glider, parachute, and aerial screw, along with his classic art pieces the Mona Lisa and the canonical proportions of the Vitruvian Man are masterfully highlighted using digital printing and gilding techniques.
Da Vincis futurism was rooted in his commitment to innovation and his belief that science and technology could change the world.
